Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Evally, including the website at tryevally.com, the dashboard, the playground and the API (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use Evally for an organization, you confirm you can accept these terms on its behalf.

Evally scores AI-generated text for grounding, relevance, safety and quality and returns a verdict (pass, flag or fail) with a probability for each check. Judgments are produced by Jev, a model from TypeSafe. They are statistical estimates: they can be wrong, and you decide what to do with them.

• Give accurate information and keep your sign-in details and API keys secret.
• You’re responsible for activity under your account and your API keys. Revoke a key as soon as you think it’s exposed.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

You agree not to:

• break the law, infringe anyone’s rights, or submit content you don’t have the right to use;
• probe, overload or disrupt the Service, or get around its usage limits or security;
• reverse engineer the Service or use it to build a competing product;
• resell or give others access to the Service without our written permission.

You keep all rights to the text you send. You give us permission to process it only to provide the Service. We don’t store the text you ask us to judge; it’s sent to our model provider to produce the verdict. See the Privacy Policy for details.

• The Hobby plan is free and includes 500 judgments a month. Pro costs $29 a month and includes 50,000; Growth costs $99 a month and includes 250,000.
• Allowances reset on the first day of each calendar month (UTC). When you reach yours, requests return an error until it resets or you upgrade.
• Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Dodo handles checkout, invoices and sales tax, and its own terms apply to your payment.
• Pro renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from the billing page; Pro stays on until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
• We’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice before changing the price of a plan you’re on.
• Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

We improve the Service continuously and may change or remove features. We aim for high availability but don’t guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. You’re responsible for how you use verdicts, including any decision to show, block or change an AI answer.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

You can stop using the Service and delete your account anytime by writing to us. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or put the Service or other users at risk.

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we’ll let you know before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
