Privacy Policy

We collect what we need to run your account and meter usage, and nothing more. The text you judge through the API isn’t kept unless a run needs a person’s review or you switch input logging on; we never see your card details; and we don’t use advertising or analytics trackers.

• Account: your email address and, if you sign in with Google or GitHub, the basic profile they share. Passwords are stored as hashes by our authentication provider.
• Usage: for each judgment, the verdict, the model’s typed answers (probabilities), timing, token counts, and whether it came from the API, the app or a batch.
• Judges and batches you create: your judges’ questions and rules, and the datasets you upload to run as batches, with their results.
• API keys: stored only as SHA-256 hashes. We can’t read your keys.
• Billing: your plan, subscription status, renewal date, and the customer and subscription IDs from our payment provider. Card details go straight to Dodo Payments; we never receive them.
• Public demo: to rate-limit visitors without an account we keep a one-way hash of the IP address for two days. We don’t keep the IP itself.
• Server logs: our hosting provider keeps short-lived request logs, including IP addresses, to keep the Service secure and working.

When you send text to be judged, we pass it to TypeSafe’s Jev model to produce the verdict and return the result to you. We keep that text only where the product needs it:

• runs you make in the app, so you can see your own history;
• runs whose verdict is marked for review, so a person on your team can check them in the review queue;
• API runs of a judge whose input logging you switched on;
• batches you upload, until you delete the batch.

Everything else sent through the API is judged and discarded; only the verdict and answers are logged. Deleting a judge deletes the text stored for its runs. Don’t send personal data you aren’t allowed to share with a processor.

• Supabase: accounts, sign-in and our database (hosted in Mumbai, India).
• Vercel: hosting and delivery of the website and API.
• TypeSafe: runs the Jev model that produces each verdict.
• Dodo Payments: checkout, subscriptions, invoices and tax, as merchant of record.

Each processes data only to provide its part of the Service.

We only use the cookies needed to keep you signed in. No advertising or analytics cookies.

Account, usage, judge and batch records stay while your account is open and are deleted when you delete it, except where we must keep billing records by law. You can delete any judge or batch yourself at any time. Demo rate-limit hashes are deleted after two days.

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data at any time by writing to founder@techiesapien.com. We’ll reply within 30 days.

Data travels over HTTPS. Every table in our database has row level security, so each account can only reach its own records, and keys are stored as hashes.

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll tell you before it takes effect.
